Manufacturing Surveillance Inspection of Subsea Trees
BPP-TECH was engaged as on-site third-party inspection and engineering support representative during the manufacture of subsea Xmas trees for a field expansion project offshore West Africa.
The trees were manufactured in the UK over an 18-month period. Inspections included mechanical, hydraulic, pressure vessels, electrical and hyperbaric testing. Manufacturing issues throughout the project were identified and followed through to closure, liaising with Client, manufacturer and sub-suppliers.
BPP-TECH offered project support that ensured successful manufacture, FAT and delivery of six subsea trees to the client site for installation.
